About Us

Lonnie McCurry’s 4-Wheel Drive Center began in a shop in the backyard of the husband and wife team, Lonnie and Nell McCurry. It started as a passion for growing the hobby that he and his friends enjoyed, which was racing and mud digging. In 1974 Skyjacker Suspensions® was established. Today we have over 80,000 square feet of facilities, over 50 employees, and 3 generations working in the business.

Since our pioneering days in the early 1970’s, we have been dedicated to being a leader in the off-road suspension industry. Skyjacker’s field proven expertise is in creating Lift kits and suspension systems along with all the necessary components and accessories you need. People have always enjoyed heading into the great outdoors to satisfy their sense of adventure. With everything, there are always some who want to go further and conquer more. These are our customers…and the customer is always right.

Throughout Skyjacker’s 50-year history, we have never backed down from our dedication to our pure passion of off-roading, and we never will. Our philosophy has always been to Provide the best designed, advanced engineered, and most innovative suspensions that we can. We engineer the definition of what a quality suspension should be. A suspension system that works in form and function, to the highest level of achievement possible, with the highest quality of materials and resources available.
